We work to maximize your strengths and minimize your barriers. We collaborate with community partners and support clients to find housing, clothing, food, and care as well as education, job-skills training, financial literacy, and life-skills learning. In addition, we offer these benefits to you thanks to the kind donations we receive from this caring community. Above all, we want each person to feel cared for and enjoy support for as long as it takes for you to rebuild confidence and achieve your goals.
Chattanooga Rescue Mission
The Chattanooga Rescue Mission is a non-profit 501(c)3 faith-based organization that believes that God’s Word has all the answers to man’s sin problem. It is our goal to share God’s saving grace with all of our guests. One of the first steps in this process is providing food, shelter, and clothing to those in need. As we meet these basic needs, we pray that God will open their hearts to any spiritual needs that they may have. Ninety-six percent of our funding comes from individuals within and around our community who believe in the work of the mission. An additional 4% comes from supporting churches and local businesses.
Family Promise Of Greater Chattanooga
When Family Promise began, it was a local response to a problem in Union County, New Jersey. Thirty years later, we are a national movement involving more than 200,000 volunteers which served more than 187,000 people in 2021. Over the past three decades, Family Promise has continued to expand our scope and our reach.
Family Promise of Greater Chattanooga is one of 200 affiliates serving families in Hamilton County.
Soul Station Ministries
Soul Station Ministries is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop, implement, and sustain programs that help empower and improve the quality of life for individuals and families.
Our mission focus is to end hunger one blessing at a time by creating access to good healthy food for seniors, veterans, and low-income families in need within the Whitfield County Community. We strive to ensure no one goes without the basic needs in life.
